EuSEM holds an annual congress, usually in the autumn, in different European countries. The congress is organised by EuSEM and the national emergency medicine society of the country in which it is held and is referred to as ‘European Congress on Emergency Medicine’ (ECEM).
In accordance with the goals of EuSEM, the objective of these congresses is to promote the science and practice of Emergency Medicine in Europe, to reflect the diversity of emergency work and to give an opportunity to members to present their original work.
